Before going out bridal shopping, there’s two important factors when it comes to the fabric; how it looks and how it feels. Different fabrics will all affect your dress silhouette and how it hangs and moves. There is a lot to consider when it comes to picking the right dress so we’ve written a short guide to help make your choice that little bit easier!
SATIN
Satin is undoubtedly one of the most common and versatile dress fabrics. It gives a beautiful, smooth shine, whilst also being able to hold any structure. It’s mainly seen in ball gown styles or any style featuring a dramatic skirt. It’s also available here as a matte satin if you love the fabric, just not the shine! Crepe is a mid weight fabric that clings to the body and has a beautiful drape. It’s most commonly used in fit and flare silhouettes as it does a great job at enhancing curves. 4) Lace
One of the most popular wedding dress fabrics, each type of lace will have unique characteristics that will all change the final look of the dress.
