Getting married during COVID
Getting married during this pandemic has not been the easiest of decisions our brides have had to make. This week we will feature our brides who braved it all and showed the world LOVE was never cancelled.
Meet our stunning bride Ola. Who chose a Morilee wedding dress 5216 which was completely customised to suit her desired style. Ola walked into our boutique with a very clear vision of her gown. She redesigned every single detail down to her customised veil. Here is her story
Where did you get married?
We were meant to be married at the Hilton Brighton but had to reschedule to a hall in London.
How did Covid affect your wedding ?
I had to reschedule my wedding twice and bring down the number of guests.
Thinking back on your wedding dress shopping experience what can you tell us about that journey?
My wedding dress experience was so much fun!! Loved it and hope all the new brides are loving it too.
What made you buy the morilee dress?
It was the most sparkly and princessy dress🥰 you can’t wear a dress like this in any other occasion!
What was special for you on the day?
everyone that attended made it super special and I was so overwhelmed at how beautiful the wedding turned out despite the pandemic restrictions on weddings
Ola is the most beautiful bride with such a loving nature. We absolutely enjoyed the whole journey. Although things were a bit stressful we managed to pull through in the end. Her wedding taught us invaluable lessons including a trip all the way to Heathrow airport to collect a jacket replacement. Our original jacket got misplaced during lockdown! Mori lee were exceptionally great. They made sure I had Ola’s wedding dress delivered to my home during lockdown.
I watched a bride take everything in her stride. With big hopes of marrying her true love. If I was the queen, all my honours would be to couples getting married during these trying times. Congratulations Ola, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!
